Founded by Rainer Oßwald and Andreas Tinter, the company specialises in live feed insects. Marc Rudolf has been managing the company as a managing partner since 2015.

Chronicle
- 1993Founded by Rainer Oßwald and Andreas Tinter in Steinheim an der Murr.
- 1997We moved to Rielingshausen because the premises had become too small.
- 2002Expansion to include rodents and accessories.
- 2003We also sell to other European countries.
- 2007Live ornamental fish food is also provided.
- 2011Solar power and wood chip heating to conserve resources.
- 2012Exclusive importer for Reptiles Planet in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
- 2013A second breeding centre due to high demand.
- 2014Fresh feed plants: distribution of PetSnack products with Fleischle in Vaihingen.
- 2015Marc Rudolf becomes managing partner. Organic certification by ABCert (DE-ÖKO-006).
- 2016Acquisition of Skiba Small Animal Breeding.
- 2017Acquisition of Claus’s live feed division.
- 201825th company anniversary on 21 April 2018.
- 2019Acquisition of the long-established company GZH Hildner on 1 September 2019.
- 2020Acquisition of Six Feet To Eat GmbH, the first food business specialising in insects to be licensed in Germany.
- 2023Acquisition of the Seitz Insect Farm in January 2023.
- 2025New intermediate sizes in our range: house crickets and field crickets are now also available in sizes 3 and 5, and desert locusts in size 3. We have also significantly expanded our breeding programme for soldier fly larvae.
- 2026The first all-electric vans are now in use on our delivery routes.
